In 2014, Connexions Church began connecting with the Zambia project. This is a missions outreach in Western Zambia, that falls under the Assemblies of God group, to which our church belongs. The project aims to establish churches throughout Western Zambia, which is largely an area where the population have not been reached with the gospel. Many of the people there have never even heard the name of Jesus. The Zambia project also runs a school, an orphanage and a clinic. They have even been digging wells to provide fresh, safe drinking water for the local villages.

Connexions Church partners with the Zambia project to provide the people in this area with practical support, and to share the gospel. Our aim is to take a team up to Zambia twice a year, for a maximum of 10 days at a time.

This is a great way for people to engage and share the gospel, to experience something other than ordinary city life, and to have an encounter with Jesus.
