Zambia Project

Mission

Tanya is a member of Connexions Church who is currently doing mission work in Zambia with the Zambia Project. She is a qualified occupational therapist and she is using her training to spread God’s love to the families of children with disabilities and developmental delays.

You can read more about the work she does on her blog (tanyalacock.co.za) where she sends monthly updates. If you want to get involved or find out more about what is happening in Zambia feel free to reach out to her. Tanya loves meeting new people and exchanging ideas.

In 2014, Connexions Church began connecting with the Zambia project. This is a missions outreach in Western Zambia, that falls under the Assemblies of God group, to which our church belongs. The project aims to establish churches throughout Western Zambia, which is largely an area where the population have not been reached with the gospel. Many of the people there have never even heard the name of Jesus. The Zambia project also runs a school, an orphanage and a clinic. They have even been digging wells to provide fresh, safe drinking water for the local villages.

Connexions Church partners with the Zambia project to provide the people in this area with practical support, and to share the gospel.

Mission

Lesotho Project

Adele and Arno Van der Pol, after being on staff at New Life Church in Mossel Bay for over 12 years, felt led to relocate to Semonkong, Lesotho to work as missionaries under Lesotho Mission. They have a goal of planting 50 churches over the next 5 years.

Adele and Arno have been married for 13 years and have a daughter of 5 years old and a son of  2 years old. Arno enjoys cycling, playing guitar and has a genuine interest in people. He is passionate about sharing a true and authentic gospel. Adele enjoys spending time with her family trying new foods and jogging. She is passionate about helping people grow in God, His Word and serving His Kingdom.

Lesotho Mission has a vision to establish strong, life-giving churches through the development of strong local leadership who will lead churches of influence in villages, towns and cities across Lesotho.

Mission

Pakistan Project

Dr. Aneel & Rubacca Yousaf, with their children Debra, Jeremiah & Abigail serve Pakistan as missionaries.

The ministry includes the following projects:

Church planting

Kingdom Bible College

Sewing Centers

Happy Kids School

Church gatherings and outreaches

Seminars

Orphan & Widow Project

Bible Distribution

They firmly believe in training up as many Christians as possible to go out into Pakistan to preach, make disciples and influence an Islam nation of 220 million people, of which 96% is Muslim.

Aneel and Rubacca serves the community by offering sewing courses and brick making, to allow the impoverished to learn a skill and to use it to generate an income for survival.

All the projects are run from the church. They see many students finish the Kingdom Bible College annually, and then send them out to do what God has called them to do. Aneel is the founder and Director of the Bible College. They’ve had 564 graduates in the last 8 years.
